Our team members all have over 20 years of extensive experience in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin, the United States and the Middle East. OUR FOCUS
Kokoro Energy’s primary services are on-site wellsite geological supervision, on-site geosteering, remote geosteering, reservoir evaluation and data integration. Our primary focus is the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin (WSCB), though with our global experience we can provide services anywhere in the world. Our hand-picked geologists have widespread experience throughout the basin on various wells including horizontals and multi-laterals. We are proud to offer expertise in dealing with structurally complex foothills and deep basins.
TECHNOLOGY
Our geologists utilize: Wellsight System’s Strip.Log, Horizontal.Log, and Power*Log Suite. You choose your preferred Striplog software. We utilize advanced geotechnical software tools such as: BITCAP’s PathFinder, ROGII’s StarSteer, SES, GeoLOGIC System’s GeoSCOUT, IHS’s Accumap and Petra, LMKR’s GeoGraphix, and Schlumberger’s Petrel in real time for fact-based interpretation and optimal well placement. We are proud to mention that our team-members were involved during the test & launch phase of StarSteer and the launch phase of special GR tools in North America.
SAFETY
Safety, health and the well-being of our personnel is KEL’s priority. We go above and beyond industry safety standards. We ensure that our consultants exceed the industry standard including: H2S Alive, First Aid C & CPR, CSO, GSO, WHIMIS and TDG. We ensure that none of our personnel suffer from excessive work-loads and enforce a 21-days-max per worker policy, ensuring their physical and mental well-being.

Our IT team is second to none in the industry. Data security is a major priority, as is personnel safety. Frequent cybersecurity audits, backs-up, data deletion, back-up-data encryption, timely back-up-data removal, access limitation and regular access audits are a standard operating procedure at Kokoro Energy Ltd.
